About This Item

Caldwell, Idaho: The Caxton Printers, Ltd, 1974. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Five color plates from paintings by John Spurling, with numerous textual illustrations. "A documentary of the development and history of the British tea clippers culminating with the building of the Cutty Sark." Two small indentations to the front board, corresponding with a slender chip to the front panel of the dust jacket, which is a touch sun faded along the spine. A crisp, very good copy.
