Small 'released' stamp of the Missouri Botanical Garden at the bottom edge of the title page of each volume, marbling on the back cover of the second volume is rubbed, inner hinges of volume 1 have been professionally repaired, a tight, very good copy.. Pp. 638; xvi, 14, 491, 6 [index], xxi + 14 plates with 134 lithographic figures by J. Wendel. Publisher's half black cloth, gilt-titled, over marbled boards, lg 8vo. Verhandelingen der Koninklijke Akademie van Wetenschappen 2e Sect., 2 (1/2). According to C. Bas in the introduction of Flora agaricina neerlandica (1988), this is: "... the one and only original mycological flora of the Netherlands ever published." Stafleu and Cowan 7159.
