Edinburgh: Printed by James Ballantyne and Co., 1808. 8vo, pp. [iii]-xiii, [i], 168. 19th century half black roan, marbled boards, spine divided by raised bands, 2nd compartment lettered in gilt direct, other compartments tooled in blind with gilt centre circles, marbled edges. A little spotting, half-title discarded. Joints starting, a little worn. Ownership inscription of Mary Anne Fielding to title-page dated 1811. 6th edition of Grahame’s popular collection, first published in 1804.

Our gallery space currently hosts Typewronger Books, offering new books and secondhand typewriters.
