Doubleday, and Company, published for the crime club, 1946. First Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Very Fine. FIRST EDITION. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Blue cloth cover with a black stamp has straight boards, slightly worn spine, and very minor, pushing to the top and bottom of the spine. Previous owner's library nameplate pasted carefully to the inside front cover. The deckled edge pages of this book slow slight signs of discoloration due to age, but are very firmly bound to the spine. This book is in fine to very fine condition.
