Publishers' brown cloth with black titles to spine and upper board, in unclipped printed dust-jacket. A clean crisp copy with no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket slightly surface soiled to rear, with nicks & creases and very minor loss top edge, and small hole adjacent to mid front fold. A Near Fine copy in Very Good jacket. Biographical study of the movie director, primarily with reference to the making of The Ballad of Cable Hogue, the classic 1970 Western starring Jason Robards, Stella Stevens and David Warner.
