Mostly in the northern part of America, which makes up the English Canada, held before all sorts of Christian religious meetings, by the then Evangelical Lutheran Inspector and Past to Philadelphia. Second edition of the Collection of Pennsylvania Speeches, first published in 1744, by the founders of the Brethren. Count Zinzendorf (1700-60), made an important missionary trip to North America in 1741. He landed in New York in November and began to visit the emerging Moravian congregations in Pennsylvania (later 'Bethlehem' and 'Nazareth'), to unite the Protestant immigrants under the umbrella of the Brothers' Unity and to do missionary work among the Indians. He traveled to the Delaware, Iroquois and Mohicans, attended the baptism of the Indian 'first fruits' and preached in the Reformed Church in Germantown and the Lutheran Church in Pennsylvania to a heterogeneous audience, which consisted of listeners from very different Protestant faiths and sects. If the count had revised them immediately afterwards, he would have been able to replace much of what the clerk had learned" (Spangenberg, Life of Zinzendorf). The influence of the 'Moravians' in the northeastern part of America is well documented and should not be underestimated. BOUND WITH: Die Alt-Lutherische Blut-Theologie by Ahaveri Fritz with a foreword by Johann Adam Steinmetzens Leipzig u Grlitz March: 1750. The title page to this part is handsomely printed in red and black. This 3rd title translates as: The Old Lutheran Blood Theology in an excerpt from the blessed D. Ahasveri Fritschen's so-called Himmelslust und Welt Unlust, with a few comments. In addition to a preface about the abbot's (from Berge monastery, Johann Adam) stonemason's letter to the Pastor Hcker (aka Hckert) in Stargard; whereby the supposed fundamental errors of the Brethren, along with other concerns that are in such a letter, are rejected.
