Synopsis
Sandworms of Dune is the second of two novels written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson to conclude Frank Herbert's original Dune series of novels. The two authors have stated that it is based on notes left behind by Frank Herbert, but that Sandworms and its 2006 predecessor Hunters of Dune represent their version of what Frank Herbert referred to as Dune 7, his own planned seventh novel in the Dune series. The novel was released on August 7, 2007.
