Description

Edinburgh: William Blackwood and Sons, 1925. FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. [iii]-x, 58, 4, [2]. Bound without the bifolium containing the half-title and table of contents. Original blue cloth, spine lettered in blue, grey dust-jacket printed in black. Lightly toned. Dust-jacket a little rubbed, slight wear to head of spine panel. The second issue binding, and this copy bound without the outermost bifolium of the first gathering - containing the half-title and the table of contents - apparently in error by the printer.

Located in the basement of a listed 1820s tenement building at the top of Edinburgh's Leith Walk, we are the only open shop in Edinburgh holding membership of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association. We stock rare, antiquarian, and collectable books on all subjects, along with a substantial range of secondhand books for browsing. Our gallery space currently hosts Typewronger Books, offering new books and secondhand typewriters.
