About This Item
Philadelphia: The Curtis Publshing Company, 1903. Original wraps. Near Fine. Peter Fountain. A lovely copy of the March 21st, 1903 issue of The Saturday Evening Post, with a wonderful chromolithograph (by Peter Fountan) of the fictitious women's golfer Alice Gray adorning the front cover. Solid and Near Fine in its stapled wrappers, with very light creasing along the edges and a tiny former owner name and address tag at the front panel. Folio, magazine-formatted, the story (called "The Finals and Alice Gray") by Brand Whitlock follows inside. An unusually crisp copy.
