About This Item
Riverside, New Jersey, U.S.A.: Simon & Schuster, 1987. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Five upper-class corporate wives find themselves struggling for survival when political unrest strands them on a tropical island west of New Guinea. A SCARCE first printing with correct full number line sequence. This is a very clean copy with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. There is a remainder mark (or stamp) on the lower textblock as well as a smudge or two on the same, but otherwise this copy is in great shape and appears to be unread. Dust jacket is not price-clipped but does have some minor edge wear and some browning to the flaps. This collectible, near fine/very good+, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
