Pictorial endpapers; b&w illustrations throughout. Spine ends and lower corners lightly rubbed, spine a bit darkened, paper over hinges split, else a clean, tight copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (several clean tears and small chips, some underlining and markings on rear flap).

First edition, first state (bearing SCALA-WAGONS on the spine), second state dust jacket (with Scalawagons spelled correctly on the rear flap). When the strange and mysterious Bell Snickle "snickles" around the scalawagons of Oz, there is big trouble in the Emerald City. The second Oz book written and illustrated by John R. Neill. Bienvenue p127.
