Black and white illustrative plates by Percy Tarrant. Prize plate stuck to font pastedown. Binding remains firm. Crinkling and cracking to pages at gutters. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Occasional foxing. Hinges are cracked with netting exposed. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Book has a slight forward lean.
