Inscribed by the author to "Desmond King-Hele, with kindest regards and best thanks, for unique help (p.74), Herbert Dingle". Professor Dingle questions Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, in that just because the mathematics are impeccably sound, other forces of nature should be taken into consideration and uses his 'travelling clocks' theory to argue his case. Dr. King-Hele died on Christmas day 2019, amongst his many achievements he is considered one of the pioneers of space and satellite geodesy. Octavo. Original black boards, titles to spine gilt.
