New York: Munn and Company, 1849. Tabloid. Good. Tabloid format. Folio. 8 pp. Illustrations throughout. Early issue of this journal devoted to science, with several short articles on railroads, a piece on daguerreotypes, a short piece on the use of electricity as a motive power in engines, news on the patent of a tumbling lock by Linus Yale, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate spotting, foxing and staining along the edges, with general toning and minor soiling. Fold creases present, along with other creasing, chipping and tearing along the edges. Unopened along the top edge.
