Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Strong tanning to spine and edges.

Moderate thumb marking and tanning to pages and plates with slight foxing throughout. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
