William Heinemann, 1979. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover is excellent. Square and solid in gilt-stamped blue cloth boards with tight binding, clean pages and unmarked text. Previous owner signed front endpaper. Jacket is present showing few signs of previous use. It is now encased in mylar and looks quite beautiful. There is a yellowe,d but very beautifully- written,1982 article from the Scottish newpaper "Daily News" by nature writer James Crumley entitled "The Call of the Fisher Bird" laid in. It describes the migratory journey of an osprey called "The Great Fisherman" from his winter quarters in Africa back to his Scottish birthplace..
