Octavo; yellow paper-covered boards, with titling and publisher's logo stamped in black to spine and front cover; dustjacket; 248, [8]pp. Slight forward lean, mild rubbing to extremities, with faint foxing and dustiness to upper edge of textblock; Very Good+. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $2.50), flap edges trimmed 1cm short, with wear and nicks to extremities, several stains to jacket, with a small piece of tape at center of front panel; Good to Very Good. Basis for Gerd Oswald's 1958 film noir, starring Anita Ekberg, Philip Carey, and Gypsy Rose Lee. HUBIN, p.54.
