Sand coloured cloth covered boards with green titles and border to the front cover and spine, with the dust jacket. Book condition good, cloth rubbed along the bottom edge and a tine piece chipped from the bottom edge of the front board, end-papers browned, spots to page edges, school prize inscription on front end-paper, otherwise contents are clean. Dust jacket condition good, creasing and rubbing along the edges, folds rubbed, slightly darkened shelf wear, now protected, not price clipped, price 2/6 net. A Boys' Adventure Story. Black and white frontispiece illustration by William Rainey. Map of the Island opposite first text page. Dust Jacket illustration has a name of "Fred Leist" on it.
