Children's book inspired by the true story of a Greel naval lieutenant who rescued a seal cub named Panayoti from a village of angry fisherman and taught him to eat, and at last to swim. Illustrated in color and black and white by Marc Simont. Cloth lightly faded and dustjacket age soiled and mildly edgeworn. Very good in good dustjacket.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
