Writer Garment uses his "contextual knowledge" of key Nixon insiders to arrive at the only likely candidate for the cigarette-smoking, Scotch-sipping informant. He also provides a fascinating look at the power dynamics within the Nixon administration and Washington. His search for Deep Throat's identity takes readers into the enigma of Richard Nixon, a leader whose tragic end still fascinates.
