Seasonal Occult Rituals is a book of Magic, Manifestation, and Metaphysics with a high purpose. In these Occult Rituals, the author lays out the structure of rituals and invocations that can be done for the seasons and explains the methodology behind the rituals. Just as importantly, she also allows readers to build their quarter cosmos for each season and each quarter of the circle. The book delves far deeper than just the rituals of the seasons; it discusses ancient Celtic and Cabalistic rituals, esoteric wisdom, attainment, and discussions on the contact of otherworldly beings. I have searched every known book site on the web for another with this beautiful cover and have yet to be able to trace one anywhere; needless to say, this is a very hard-to-come-by edition. The last one I saw was many years ago and has long since sold, as was the previous printing I once owned. They don't make them this good anymore, and they never will; I would snag this one before it's gone.

CHAPTER I
SEASONAL RITUALS
Seasonal rites are virtually as old as the hills they used to be practiced on by most of humanity, and even today, they are kept up in very attenuated forms by a small minority of cultists. In principle, they afford an invaluable means of aligning our natures with the essential energy behind the creation itself through the cycles and changes that complete the great circle of the cosmos, which we term 'nature.' Put into absolutely basic language, if we can relate our little human nature to the incalculable divine nature, we shall have done something worth doing. This was and is the aim of all actual magical rites. To relate with the inside of nature or the 'spirit within the stone.' Treat creation as an intelligent entity that knows very well what it is doing, even though we are unable to comprehend its type of consciousness. Not to give this inconceivable being the benefit of the doubt but to obtain the benefit of our belief in its beneficence. No inconsiderable advantage to us in such a transaction! Thousands of years of human experience on earth have enabled us to relate ourselves to the natural physical properties of our chemical constituents, some of the finer forces immediately behind material manifestation, for instance, electricity, magnetism, and light, and we have discovered how to use most of our earthly environmental influences to our advantage—or otherwise. Why? In the first place, our enquiring ancestors sought the inner spirits of these matters and successfully established sufficient contact with those categories of consciousness to hand them down through the ages until they have become the heritage we treat so casually today. How did our early seekers manage this? Using the ritual patterns they used as symbols for projecting."

The overall condition of this book is excellent, especially considering it is now 48 years old (1976.) It has some light shelf wear and age with some bumps but has been exceptionally well-preserved. The interior pages have some natural age toning but are in excellent condition (clean, crisp, and complete.)
