Kendal: Westmorland Gazette. This is a Fine Copy of this book in Publisher's blue rexine cloth with gilt title lettering to spine,in a Very Good Dust-Jacket that has one small closed tear to the top edge of the rear cover with just a little light rubbing to the outer edges of the dust-wrapper.Not price clipped with £2.50 showing to the front flap of the dust-jacket.This copy contains a typed signed letter by Alfred Wainwright on a Loweswater Animal Rescue Charity card,with original envelope.The letter refers to Furness Drawings that were given to Animal Rescue in Cumbria and sold for Charity,all sold out but Wainwright mentions that more maybe available once he has complete his second book of Drawings of the Furness area.This work is beautifully illustrated with 75 drawings in the Furness district of Cumbria.The Contents remain clean internally.Great collector's item especially with the signed letter and it's assured provenance.Additionally there is a publisher's promotional leaflet of Lakeland Mountain Drawings Volume Five Laid in at the front of the book.Landscape format,8vo First Edition [1979] .
