About This Item

Light yellow cloth with Red back strip. Gilt lettering on spine. Book sound and square with tight binding and clean text. Inscribed and signed by the author on the FFE. DJ is in near fine condition with very slight edge wear to top of DJ. Betty Friedan's first work, "The Feminine Mystique" was the catalytic work of the modern women's movement. In this work, the problem Friedan identifies (as real now as it was years ago) is "how to live the equality we fought for and continue to fight for, with the family as the new feminist frontier", and human liberation. A very important work in the evolution of the Woman's movement, and signed by Betty Friedan. Mylar protected.
