Signed by the author on the ffep in the presence of this bookseller as follows: "for Jim:- /Cecil B. Currey". Dr. Currey unfortunately, is now deceased. Number line in the work reads as follows: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 . 288 pages, including an index. Volume itself has yellow covers with black lettering on the spine. A touch of wear at the head and tail of the spine and some light spotting on the edges. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. DJ has a tear of approximately 2" on the bottom of the spine and in the lower left hand area of the jacket that has been taped. Still a highly serviceable copy and one of the very few signed by the author during his lifetime, as Dr. Currey was very hesitant to sign books for anyone. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
