About This Item

London, Printed and Sold by Henry Fenwick, No. 20, Newgate Street., [1782.]. 1782 12mo. 150 p. Engraved frontispiece dated 1782. Good quality modern half calf with marbled boards. The spine with raised bands, gold lines and a maroon label. The paper lightly toned in some gatherings and a small inkstain on the lower part of the the fore edge which barely shows internally. This is an unrecorded issue, clearly related to ESTC T14782 (which itself has only two location), but without the 'Explanation of the French Words' and no mention of it on the title page. The title page and C1 are a little short at the foot so may be cancels.
