Description

Linden Publishing Inc., Fresno, first edition, 2007. Cloth, 8vo,. xx, 267 pp. 1161 entries. From the introduction: "The literature of the Mutiny consists of a vast array of material in various languages and states. This checklist is concerned with the entire field of non-fiction Mutiny literature that has been published in book form, in the English language. Approximately 1,100 titles are covered, from the earliest pamphlets and books published shortly after the commencement of the Mutiny, to the turn of the 21st century. There is occasional coverage of fiction and non-published works but only as they came to notice during collateral research; otherwise, these types of materials were not listed. I have, however, included a number of tides that upon inspection have revealed little of interest to the Mutiny student. These entries have been included for the benefit of collectors and researchers who, no doubt, will be the primary audience for this checklist. By consulting the checklist they can save time and limit their investigations to relevant tides.
