Cleveland: World Publishing, 1943. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is a very early reprint of the novel, about 6 years after it's first appearance. Stated first printing of this edition. For its age, quite remarkable condition. Green cloth boards, some browning to pages. Green jacket with yellow text has strong color, almost no wear other than some spotting to the extremities of the flaps, a tiny ding at the top of the front panel, and a small tear at the head of the spine. Also includes an attractive mid-century bookmark from Concord Books of Times Square. In protective mylar
