Craik was an Engish novelist and poet. This is a book of her essays on moral life, parenting, and child-rearing. It is an ex-library copy from the Sturgis Library in Barnstable, Massachusetts, and bears a vintage bookplate from 1885, stamp on the title page, and small white call number on the spine.
