About This Item

London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1911. Reprinted 1938 . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight. The front and rear end papers have a strip of darkened paper,. The red cloth covers are still bright, with minor wear at edges and corners. The dust jacket is in Good condition, with shallow chipping, and handling. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. This copy was published as number 8 in Hodder & Stoughton's series: "The Thorndyke Library," and has a listing of the first 8 titles on the back panel of the jacket. The title area of the dust jacket also identifies it as part of the "Hodder & Stoughton Yellow Jacket" series.
