Very Good Condition/Very Good. dustjacket is aged toned, on the margins of the front panel, the spine, and the top part of the rear panel, which also has a rub mark from contact with other books. There is slight drubbing and chipping across the top and bottom edges of the dustjacket. The edges of the pages are slightly darkened with age. Page 295 has an accidental dog earing at the bottom right hand corner. No other damage to describe. Free of annotation. Front end pages show a street plan of Dublin in 1853 theory and pages show a slight elevation of GBS's house, eight pages of black-and-white photographs.This close look at Bernard Shaw's Dublin years  his childhood and early manhood  is an examination of the strange lapses and striking inconsistencies in the versions of Shaw's early life reported by both is authorised and unauthorised biographers, and by their chief assistant, GBS himself.
