Volume II (Moor & Marsh) in Third Edition; 1889. Both volumes with numerous black & white engraved illustrations by six different artists. Advice and information is provided on a wide variety of topics: guns, gun-making and acquisition, hunting various species of mammals and birds, trap shooting, etc. The authors were assisted by Lord Lovat and Lord Charles Lennox Kerr. These two works are entries in the publisher's series: The Badminton Library of Sports and Pastimes. --- In full brown cloth-covered boards with illustrations, decorations and titling in black, gilt, and silver; brown topstain. --- Both volumes are tightly bound, clean and sturdy though with minor edgewear and with pencilings on perhaps as many as 4 pages.
