Inscribed on page 5: "For ____ and ________; With the Warmest Wishes of the Author, George Young of Queensland N.S. Christmas, 2001." B&w photographs, drawing. "The Short Triangle was an area bounded by drawing a line from Cape Race Newfoundland to Cape Hatteras then, to Bermuda and, back to Cape Race. Many a fierce engagement took place in these waters and this then, is the story of one. Sometimes, convoys moved on their errands unmolested for several weeks at a time but, when the submarines of the enemy pounced, they usually did so with a vengeance. This narrative is based upon events that actually took place. The ships names are of those who were there. The author was there also." A fictionalized version of events that took place in the summer of 1942 off the coasts of New England and Nova Scotia. Interior - minor rust on staples, otherwise clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - small crease at top of spine.. Inscribed By Author. 8th Printing. Stapled in Wraps. Very Good.
