With a general introduction by George Saintsbury, and notes on the authors by Philip Henderson. With facsimiles of all four original title pages. Number 824 in Everyman's Library Fiction series. --- In Everyman's Library larger format binding style 4. Full blue cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped spine titling and copper-toned interlocked "EL" in script at tail of spine; orange topstain. Volume wrapped in light blue dust jacket with "Everyman's Library" surrounded by scrollwork to front panel. --- Exposure to moisture has left dampstains to cloth and verso of jacket, with slightly warped boards, otherwise a clean, tightly-bound copy. Jacket with crumpling & small tears to edges, else bright, intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; xvii, [2], 356, 4 (ads) pages .
