Spine is slightly cocked and is bumped at top edge, and first signature is starting to pull away from binding along bottom edge, but all pages remain attached to binding. Pages are tanned, but unmarked.

There is a small area of soiling to the front board & 2 chips to the paper along its front edge. The dust jacket is chipped with the rear panel soiled. A price sticker has been removed from the front panel; there is a tear to its bottom edge, an area of its surface is rubbed away & there is a piece out. 157 pages plus colophon. There is a small ink mark to the front endpaper & light soiling to the colophon. Profusely illustrated with many tipped-in color plates, including a large folding plate, & black-and-white illustrations. Very good in a good dw.
