In 1953 Steinway celebrated its Centennial & Steinway artists from around the globe wrote congratulatory tributes which were sent to Theodore E. Steinway (1883-1957), piano technician, philatelist and son of Henry E. Steinway, piano technician & the founder of Steinway & Sons. One page ALS on plain white letterhead: "Dear Mr. Steinway, I well remember my first recital, many years ago. On an American Steinway concert grand - and my exclamation that it was the most beautiful piano I had ever played on. Even its number is fixed in my memory! Since than the gratitude for these wonderful instruments has never varied. It is a great pleasure to join in the felicitation to you on a century of distinguished services to the cause of music. Very sincerely yours, James Friskin." In fine condition. Original Autographed Letters & Documents.
