VG/none. used pb, 320pp. Illustrated, turquoise stiff paper wraps with image of Indian on upper with white colored text on upper and black text on spine. Photographs and descriptions of some of the vintage images taken by John A. Anderson while he served as official photographer to the Crook Treaty Commission in 1889. From 1891 to his death in 1948 he lived on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. His images of the Ghost dance and the massacre at Wounded Knee are classics of their time. Wraps have slight edge wear and slight shelf wear to head and tail of spine. Interior pages clean, unmarked. Binding is tight and straight..
