Janet Soskice grew up in western Canada and has lived for some years in England, where she is Professor in Philosophical Theology at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Jesus College. She lectures around the world and is a frequent contributor to radio and television programs.

The book was bought as a present for a relative and as was very gratefully received. My relative has a deep interest in the Bible and a knowledge of the Middle East and found the story, with all its details, enthralling.
The sisters were referred to in a recent BBC TV series ('The Bible Hunters').
