Jacket spine is faded with 1/2 inch pieces missing from the top and lower spine with some chipping to the bottom and corners, 2.5 inch tear to the jacket rear cover top right, with a couple pieces of scotch tape applied to tears; little wear to the book itself. In Brodart for preservation. Text is clean. 'Here, for the first time, is the full and complete story of Tennessee's famous 'Monkey Trial' held at Dayton in the huge red brick courthouse in the square during the sweltering July days of 1925 - a trial which had the whole civilized world gasping with astonishment.' 258 pages.
