Introduction by Valmai Hankel, rare books librarian, State Library of South Australia. Folding chart. Bound in dark green calf over green cloth-covered boards. Edition limited to 600 copies, with 99 of those bound in quarter leather; of the latter, this is number 67. The original title page continued ". . . with Advice to Emigrants; to which is added a Monthly Calendar of Gardening and Agriculture Adapted to the Climate and Seasons." A facsimile of the scarce 1838 edition (London: J. Cross). A handsome copy of a well-produced publication.
