London: The First Edition Club, 1924. xi., b/w illustrations. This Edition consists of 500 copies, printed on Ingres paper dyed by hand for this book, and bound in paper boards from a design by Lovat Fraser, now used for the first time. This is Number 2. Holbrook Jackson's copy, with his bookplate to front pastedown, and signature to front endpaper, also inscribed by him to Gladys Burlton, who created what could well have been the first management consultancy business in the UK. Illustrations originally created for A E Housman's 'A Shropshire Lad', but never published. Minor wear, age toning, some offsetting to front endpaper, otherwise contents fine. [716]. Signed by Author. Limited. Paper Covered Boards. Very Good. 165mm. x 125mm.. Book.
