Chicago: Jansen, McClurg & Company. Brown cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Slightly rubbed at the corners. 2 slightly faded spots on the spine where library stickers were removed. Library bookplate on the back of the front endpaper. There never was a pocket. Strong binding. The text is bright and crisp with no markings. Frontispiece engraving is bright with no foxing and has sepia paper covering. Very gently used ex-library copy. . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1882.

We also restore and rebind books at very reasonable rates. We also carry a large section of vintage movie memorabilia including posters, photo stills, lobby cards and celebrity signatures. We are always buying books, historical documents, movie memorabilia and misc. artifacts as well as other items of historical significance such as art, letters, diaries, maps and military-related pieces.
