Portsmouth, NH: Harrison Gray, 1821. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. Original calf. 12mo. 293,77, [1] pp. With appendix, with errata page. Jonathan was the brother of Moses Greenleaf. The first part of the book deals with the ecclesiastical history of various Maine towns and counties, followed by chapters on Freewill Baptists, Calvinistic Baptists, Methodists, etc. Williamson 3913. From the library of Francis Greene, historian and author of the History of Boothbay, Maine, with his stamp on the free front endpaper, and his bookplate on the rear pastedown. Beginnings of a tear at the top of the spine along each side, lacking spine label else a good, tight copy.
