About This Item
New York: William Edwin Rudge, 1928. Boards. Very Good +/Very Good. A solid, very presentable copy of the 1928 1st edition. Tight and VG+ to Near Fine (light spotting at the outer hinges) in a crisp, VG example of the fragile, light-blue dustjacket, with minor chipping and wear along the edges, significantly less though than one usually encounters. Thin folio, the full-page sketches along the rectos, the captions (titling, etc.) along the facing versos. Introduction by the pre-eminent New York architect Cass Gilbert (the Woolworth Building, the U.S. Supreme Court, etc.).
