This very witty book of Rhyme is introduced by the " the author himself" I would have had these verses published long ago except for the difficulty of finding someone who would write them. Finally I submitted the job to my favorite author who readily agreed to write the verses, i think he has done very well indeed.Book is very good with wear at the spine ends and some spotting to the front cover. This book is SIGNED by the author on the second free end paper. Collectible. Signed by Author(s).

In addition to a parody of Poe's "The Raven" (i.e. A Chicago Night's Entertainment), there's a remarkable shape poem in "When Wifie Drives," an ode to Spanish Influenza, and ends with several on Christmas topics. The full-page illustrations are notable but quite different from Frank King's later work in the classic Chicago Tribune cartoon, "Gasoline Alley".
