Tenth thousand, 8vo, pp. xxi, [3], 305, 5 (ads), [17] ads; frontispiece map, vignette title page, sm bookseller ticket on front paste down, spine ends frayed and segments of spine are torn (with glue repair), spine and edges a bit darkened, otherwise a good copy in original blue cloth, gilt lettering on spine, and upper cover decorated in gilt. One of the most famous and esteemed dictionaries of slang ever published. This new edition includes nearly 10,000 words, according to the preface, as well as the prefaces to the first and second editions.
