London : Hodder & Stoughton, 1980. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing 1980. Hardback book is tight clean very square. Boards sharp and clean, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with very feint spotting to top edge. Pages clean and unmarked. Feels read. Sharp spine ends, near fine condition. Jacket has light edge wear, with sunning to the spine. There is a 6mm tear to bottom edge of rear panel, that has an associated crease and has been historically fixed with tape to verso. There are couple of 2mmtears to head of spine that again historically have been secured using tape to verso and touched up using dark pen. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described.
