New York: Atheneum, 1970. First. Very Good-. First edition stated on copyright page. Drawings by Berdine Ardrey. This is the third book in the author's four-book 'Nature of Man' Series. No jacket. Brown cloth over boards with gilded lettering on front and spine. Spine also with thirteen blue stripes. Spine slightly creased, very light smudge to lower edge of front, and corners gently bumped. First blank with a full page of pencil notes. Pencil underlining and marginal marks throughout. Overall a very good copy with pencil notations. 

Pages: (10) 405 (1)   Dimensions: 9⅝ x 6¼ x 1½ .
