London : Faber and Faber, 1956. Cloth. Good/Fair. 8" by 5.5". Marion Rivers-Moore. A collection of 'Songs of Childhood' by Walter de la Mare. With decorations by Marion Rivers-Moore. Walter John de la Mare, OM, CH (25 April 1873 - 22 June 1956) was an English poet, short story writer and novelist. He is probably best remembered for his works for children and for his poem "The Listeners". In a green cloth binding in a clipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Dustwrapper is sound with slight rubbing. There are some chips and closed tears to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some scattered light foxing. Good
