About This Item

NY: Magic Carpet Books. Very Good+. c1988, 2004. Softcover; Mass Market PB. No spine or cover creases, very light edgewear, top page edges pale yellow; looks unread. A very nice copy. ; Kate, in London, and Cecelia, in the country, have alot to write to each other about during the 1817 season.

For starters, there's the witch who tried to poison Kate at the Royal College of Wizards. There's also the man who seems to be spying on Cecelia. (Though he's not doing a very good job of it--so just what *are*his intentions?)

Clearly, magic is a deadly and dangerous business. And the girls might be in fear for their lives . . . if only they weren't having so much fun!; Highly recommended, especially for those that enjoy some magic with their Regency novels. :o) For ages 12 and up. .
