(1834-1892) He was a world-renowned Baptist preacher who led the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England, from 1859 to 1892 and who founded Pastors' College (now Spurgeon's College) in London in 1856. He wrote many books during his distinguished career, including Treasury of David and Morning and Evening.
